Amritsar
Amritsar is one of the most impotent city of Punjab, which is the administrative headquarters of the Amritsar district in the state of Punjab. Amritsar was established in 1574 by Guru Ram Das, fourth Sikh guru, he bought a land for 700 rupees from the owners of the village of Tung. It is also known for its rich history culture and tradition. Amritsar is the heart of the Sikh religion and the lavish and legendary Golden Temple is the most impotent charm of the city. ‘Amritsar with Golden Temple’ is well designed itinerary which gives you the chance to explore the major attractions of the town including Golden temple, which is also known as Harmandir Sahib Temple. It is the one of the most prime attraction and one of the holiest pilgrim place for Sikh religion, apart from Sikhs, this temple is also visited by Hindus as well. After freshen up, proceed to visit for Harmandir Sahib, popularly known as the Golden Temple. Evening is free at leisure. Jallianwala Bagh and Wagah border Today after breakfast, visit Jallianwala Bagh. This historical area is known for the massacre commissioned by General Dyer, during the British Rule. In the evening, visit Wagah border. The guard changing ceremony every evening in the India- Pakistan border is the highlight of the area. Overnight stay in Amritsar.
Today is the last day of the tour. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and get transferred to the railway station to catch the train back home.
